Gympie Region Economic Summit

The Gympie Region Economic Summit is a one-day event bringing government, industry, and community leaders into the same room to explore the future of the Gympie economy.

Proudly led by the Gympie Chamber of Commerce, this business-led, community-wide forum invites everyone to be part of the conversation. Together, we’ll examine key drivers of regional growth, from sustainability and tourism to investment, innovation, and infrastructure, and consider what Gympie’s economy could look like in the years ahead.

We are honoured to welcome three Queensland Government Ministers to speak at the summit:

• Hon Tim Mander MP, Minister for Sport and Racing and Minister for the Olympic and Paralympic Games
• Hon Steven Minnikin MP, Minister for Customer Services and Open Data, Small and Family Business
• Hon Tony Perrett MP, Minister of Agriculture

Held at the Gympie Pavilion and Showgrounds, the program features keynote speakers, three themed panel discussions, and a showcase of local businesses and government agencies. The day concludes with Business After Hours, including live entertainment and a lucky door prize proudly donated by Virgin Australia.

This one-day event bringing government, industry, and community leaders into the same room to explore the future of the Gympie economy. The summit will commence at 10:00am, followed by our Business Hours Networking event, concluding at 7:00pm.  Full program to be released soon.
